How does Maurits de Bruin's "Ook Mijn Holocaust" challenge Dutch collective memory of the Holocaust?'. The winner of the ALCS Postgraduate/Early Career Prize 2025 is Elizabeth Hines (Johns Hopkins University) for 'How to Pawn the Crown Jewels'. Gefeliciteerd!

How to apply for ALCS Prizes

The Association for Low Countries Studies in Great Britain and Ireland awards yearly Prizes to the best Undergraduate Essay, Undergraduate Dissertation and postgraduate Article written in any area of Low Countries studies.

How to apply for ALCS Research Grants

Members can apply for up to £400 for a personal application and max £500 for a project/conference with institutional backing. Only ALCS Members can apply for an ALCS Research Grant.
